In " Green Destiny," Cole and Wu return to Ninjago along with the others. They save Lloyd and the others and fight off the Sons of Garmadon and Colossus before Lloyd defeats Garmadon. Yes, they have to save Ninjago city from a cat (which is hilarious) but there was not much else to the story.
